I am thrilled to once again partner with Hair Cuttery for their Share-A-Haircut program. This amazing initiative enables you to support a child in need while your own child gets their new look for the first day of school.

For each haircut purchased at a Hair Cuttery near you, one free haircut certificate will be donated to a child in need prior to the start of the new school year. Isn’t that amazing? What a great lesson in giving back to teach your children.

What exactly is the Share-A-Haircut program?

The Share-a-Haircut program was created by Hair Cuttery to give free haircuts to underprivileged community members, specifically kids in need as they head back-to-school. Since then, they’ve expanded the program to touch people of all ages.

This being the 18th anniversary of the program, Hair Cuttery is determined to donate tens of thousands of free haircut certificates. Want to know how many haircuts they have given away thus far? To date, the Share-A-Haircut program has reached more than 2.16M people with haircut certificate donations, valued at $35 million. WOW!!!!

How do you participate in the Share-A-Haircut program?

From August 1-15, for every child up to age 18 who purchases a haircut at one of Hair Cuttery’s salons, one free haircut certificate will be donated to an underprivileged child in that same community. In each market, certificates are distributed with the help of more than 100 local government and non-profit organizations that are closely tied to each community.

To find one of the almost 900 Hair Cuttery salons near you, you can use the Hair Cuttery salon locator. Head on over, give back to your community and receive a professional hair cut at an affordable price.
