That clock…always ticking away as we try to figure out how to fit it all in. Some days it’s easy to check things off my to-do list, while others, just not happening.

As a Mompreneur, I work from home, which means it enables me to create my own schedule and be flexible. It definitely has its’ benefits but it doesn’t mean I have less to do or more time to do it. I guess people haven’t grasped that concept yet.

There are certain questions that I am asked on a weekly basis that truly boggles my mind.

“What do you do all day?”

“You’re so lucky your kids are at school all day. You must have so much free time.”

“Instagram? Is that really what moms do all day?”

REALLY PEOPLE?

These questions drive me nuts!!! Do I ask what YOU do all day at work? Nope! You want to know why? Well..I don’t care, so that’s why. Neither should you? Do you actually think that moms who don’t work outside the home have it easy? More free time? Less to do? Get real!

The truth is that most of these questions, believe it or not, come from other moms. Yep…other moms. Moms, we need to support one another, not bring each other down. I have written about this topic before so now, I am going to show you what my typical day looks like when I am home.

Ladies, we need to support one another, not bring each other down. I have written about this topic before so now, I am going to show you what my typical day looks like when I am home. I think it will address the questions up above.

I doubt after watching my video, you will be jealous of my day. It doesn’t even include all of the driving to and from school, sports, playdates, activities, errands, meetings, homework, volunteering, lunch boxes, exercising…need I go on? You all know how it goes. The struggle is real.

It’s not a contest who is busiest. We are all busy. No need to compare notes.

On a separate note, if we have a few extra minutes during the day, can we take a nap, catch up on shows or eat those bonbons everyone talks about, without feeling guilty? (Do they even make those anymore?). Yes, we can and we should. When I worked in an office all day, I took a lunch hour and sometimes more to take a break. Same concept, different venue.

We should not divide ourselves by acronyms. We have a lot on our plate no matter how the four letters define us. We need to unite and not judge!

Wishing all you fabulous ladies a wonderful weekend. Hope it is a break from whatever it is you do during the week.
