As most of you know, my favorite company in the whole wide world is Chewy.com. When I lost my dog, Lollie, back in March, I never would have expected to receive such support from a place where I bought her dog food.
Between the letters, flowers, amazing customer service when I realized I forgot to cancel Lollie’s automated dog food delivery AND painted artwork of Lollie, I was truly blown away. In fact, many of you were as well when you read about my experience on Facebook. So many of you wrote that you would try Chewy.com and would be a lifetime customer.
I love sharing amazing experiences and stories about good companies and good people, especially because it is rare. Well…I am so excited to announce I am now an influencer for Chewy.com. There is seriously no other company I would rather help to promote and I mean that with all my heart.
We recently added a new puppy to our family a few weeks ago. Her name is Penelope (Penny for short), and we are madly in love. She loves playing, is a great eater and is even doing a ton of tricks. Lots of work (I feel like I gave birth to a fourth child, no joke).
Chewy.com welcomed Penny with open arms, (not to my surprise), and lots of biscuits. We all know dogs love their treats! I am really trying not to give Penny people food from the table when we are eating, like we did with our other dog. She is a good eater and I want her to continue to enjoy her food. That said, I still want to reward her when training as well as give her a snack in between her meals.
I ordered her a bunch of treats from Chewy.com and one of them was True Chews Premium Grillers with Real Steak Dog Treats. I chose these for many reasons.
For starters, they look like something that was actually grilled so I knew they would be attractive to Penny.
While they look great, the question is are they nutritious? Again, I am paying close attention to what I am feeding her. Yep! They’re made with U.S.-sourced chicken that’s raised without antibiotics, hormones or steroids for a high-protein jerky treat that satisfies and nourishes in every bite.
Since they contain zero corn, wheat, soy or anything artificial, I can truly feel good about treating Penny. She always seems hungry and I am trying to stick with her three meals a day which helps me keep an eye on her potty needs. The Premium Grillers make a perfect in-between snack.
There are a very large variety of True Chews snacks to purchase. Everything from the Premium Grillers I bought Penny, to Premium Morsels, Premium Jerky Cuts and a ton more. Lots and lots to choose from.
The big question…did Penny like the Grillers?
Put it this way. She grabbed the bag out of my hand and I had to chase her in the backyard to get it back.
When she finally calmed down, she was rewarded and LOVED her new treat.
What I loved is that there was no weird odor and not to be gross but her poop didn’t change either.
Maybe TMI but as a dog owner, that is important to me.
Even if dogs love their treats, if it makes their belly hurt and changes their stool, it’s not a good sign.
Once again, Chewy.com proves to be a reliable source for all my pet needs. Whenever I promote a business or product, I always worry it is going to sound too much like an advertisement. That can be such a turn off to readers. Hopefully, you can “hear” my passion and my admiration for Chewy.com when reading this.
You all know I don’t promote something I don’t believe in and after the support I received from Chewy.com and the stories I continue to hear from pet owners, how can I not?
